CAMP (Y/N?): N MY ACTIVITIES: umm... er... well... NOTES: highest waterfall in Ga, lovely picnic/play areas, start of AT Approach Trail I'm ashamed to claim this as one of my state park visits in my quest to visit all the 48 Georgia State Parks within one year. But I'm going to. You see, well, um, ..... I just drove through for about 5 minutes to get to a Jeep Trail on the other side of the park with my lifelong BFF Leah and her Jeep 'Merlo'. Technically, I did visit Amicalola Falls State Park. I don't feel too bad about not exploring as I have spent my lifetime exploring Amicalola Falls SP - playground when I was a kid and then taking my kids, family reunions in the mid-1980s, hiking the Appalachian Trail (AT) Approach Trail daily while my kid was in half-day pre-K, the Len Foote Hike Inn... heck, I even got MARRIED at Amicalola Falls State Park!! (I'll go back before April 2020! I promise! LOL For now, know that this is one not to miss for anyone and I'm excited to explore it again as they have new activities like archery and zipline) *EDIT: I never went back within the April'19-April'20 timeframe.
