CAMP (Y/N?): Y (1 night, solo car camp) MY ACTIVITIES: Hike, History NOTES: interesting man-made lake, quiet, cute cottages along the lake, lodge with pool & golf course When a good idea pops in my head and grabs my heart, I tend to make it a reality. Over a decade ago, I bought my first Georgia State Parks Annual ParkPass. Red Top Mountain and Amicalola Falls were 'my' parks because of proximity. I recall the park passes were colored differently each year back then and it matched my beloved yellow Xterra the first year I got one. Destiny, right? :) I've usually gotten the passes because of the good value, but I did skip a few years here and there. Sometime along the way, I got the notion I'd like to visit all the state parks and hike every single trail in them. Nice goal I thought. But life is busy and I never got 'obsessed' enough to make it happen. The idea remained though.
I didn't have the idea in mind this year when I bought my 2019 pass at Little Ocmulgee State Park.
